Regimented "exercise" is often ineffective for campers because they consider it “boring” (even at the gym, or with a personal trainer), and many are resistant to traditional sports because they “don’t like them” or feel as though they have not had previous success.
At Wellspring Adventure Camp, campers are exposed to exciting new adventure activities designed to help novices and more advanced campers alike learn to love being outdoors and being active. In a safe and supportive environment, campers experience whitewater rafting, paddling, rock climbing, rappelling, mountain biking, hiking, and camping, plus much, much more.
If campers need skills or additional confidence to participate in new activities, the Adventure Camp's specialists and instructors make sure all campers are fully trained and prepared before commencing the activity. Wellspring’s goal is to help every camper be successful, regardless of skill level. And imagine the thrill of succeeding in a new adventure that you never thought you’d even try.
Whether we’re in the field, participating in adventure activities, or at base camp, with traditional sports and fitness activities, the environment at Wellspring Adventure Camp is always non-judgmental and the action is fast and thrilling. Before the summer is over, the fitness level of campers has skyrocketed – without spending hours in the gym.
