Admissions Requirements

Admission Criteria:

WEIGHT: Boys and girls ages 11-17 must be at least 20 pounds overweight and have been struggling with their weight for at least one year.

ATTITUDE: Participants must view attending Wellspring Adventure Camp North Carolina as an opportunity. The Adventure Camp will not admit campers who are clearly opposed to attending, or who have a history of oppositional behavior or violence.

MEDICAL: The Adventure Camp will not admit campers with medical issues requiring hospitalization or that will prevent campers from participating fully in Camp activities.
